l. Verify the power source. Is the customer on a generator, a NEW Construction Power Distribution Box, or a house circuit?

m. If it is a generator, verify they are using the 20-amp outlets for the iQMS362 and the generator is at least capable of supporting 4500 watts continuously.

    i. Recommended extension cord gauges and lengths are:

        1. 12 gauge at 25 feet Maximum

        2. 10 gauge at 50 feet Maximum

        3. Do Not Exceed 50 Feet

n. If it’s an iQMS362, verify the equipment is plugged into a dedicated 20-amp circuit and there are no other equipment on that circuit

o. Older homes may not have upgraded electrical system therefore they will have difficulty supporting the 20-amp workload.

p. Arch Flash Circuit interrupt (AFCI)may not be properly wired and can cause tripping of the breaker. AFCI is enforced in OREGON and WASHINGTON along with many other states who have adopted the 2014 electrical code.

q. What type of material are they cutting?

    i. In the MidWest, the MS362 Blade has difficulty cutting:

        1. Unilock Ledgestone

        2. TownHall

        3. Courtstone

        4. Bristol County

        5. Unilock Olde Quarry

        6. Face Brick

ii. In the North East, the MS362 has difficulty cutting:

        1. Blue Stone

        2. EP Henry

iii. In the Western, the MS362 has difficulty cutting:

        1. Abbotsford

        2. Belgard

        3. Calstone – Quarry Stone (9000 PSI)

r. The motor brushes may be worn or have failed. Check the brushes.

    i. On the 360X, the motor case end cap must be removed to check the brushes

ii. On the iQTS244, IQ360XR and IQMS362, Motor brush caps are provided. Use a small flat head screwdriver or a            dime and loosen and remove the brush caps. The brushes should spring out.

s. If the saw was recently purchased and has had minimal usage (less than ten), the issue may be a defective Stator          and Armature. I would recommend replacing the following

    i. iQTS244

        1. 0244-25007-01 Armature Assembly

        2. 0244-62076-01 Stator

        3. 0244-90073-01 Brush

    ii. iQ360XR

        1. 0360-62136-01 Stator (120V)

        2. 0360-62139-01 Armature (120V)

        3. 0360-62138-01 Bearing Bushing

        4. 0360-62144-01 O- ring (black)

        5. 0360-62134-01 Brush

        6. If its a360X then replace the motor assy,

                a. 0360-62002-02 iQ360XR 120v Saw Motor

    iii. iQMS362

        1. 0362-90016-01 O-Ring, Bushing

        2. 0360-62139-01 Armature Assembly

        3. 0362-62071-01 Stator 120v

        4. 0360-62134-01 Brush
